Do you Suffer from Anxiety?
"The ability to be in the present is a major component of mental WELLNESS". - Abraham Maslow
Do you have spontaneous panic attacks? Do you fear leaving the house for fear of having a panic attack? Are you afraid to drive? Are you worried all the time? Are you afraid in social situations that you will make a mistake, be judged, or fear humiliation? Do you fear specific situations or objects? Do you have recurring obsessive thoughts? Do you find that you engage in certain ritualistic behavior in order to avoid experiencing anxiety?, i.e. washing hands, wiping down dirty counters several times, checking to see that the door is locked or that the stove is turned off? If you have any of these symptoms, you probably are suffering from some form of anxiety disorder. Before you continue reading, remember that ALL anxiety disorders are completely treatable.
Anxiety can be divided into seven central categories. These seven categories correspond with seven major anxiety disorders. Read the descriptions listed below to tell if you show signs of suffering from one or more of these disorders.
